Week 28 Menu

03 Dec

This week I’m taking “Meatless Monday” a little further… as in, the whole week. Organic beef and chicken taste so amazing that they are indeed worth the cost. However, we need to trim the budget to stay on track for Christmas so I’ll try a meatless week and see how much I can save at the Co-op. Of course I’ll let you know how much (if any) I saved.

Friday

Left-Overs / Clean out the Refrigerator

Saturday

Grilled Onion and Olive Pizza

Sunday

Roasted Butternut Squash with Pesto, Spinach Cucumber Salad

Monday

Vegetarian Shepherd’s Pie

Tuesday

Carrot Masala Roti/Poori
Mattar Paneer

Wendsday

Wild Rice and Lentil Soup, Home Made Whole Wheat Bread

Thursday

Carnival Squash Pasta,  Feta Cranberry Salad

The total charge at check-out this week was $49 less compared to my normal spending average. So, my plan has worked so far.
