Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

Going on top of the Birthday cake today is this frosting!

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

In a small bowl beat whipping cream until stiff peaks form; set aside.
In a large bowl combine cream cheese, sugar, salt and vanilla. Beat until smooth, then fold in whipped cream.

    Is this good icing for piping on cupcakes? Does it hold its shape?

      Hi, yes this frosting will work great on cupcakes and cookies or even as decoration for cake piping. If it is too soft, set it in the refrigerator for five – seven minutes then pipe away!
